Where does your Palo Santo come from?
Please meet the hard working people who harvest the best Palo Santo. They work extremely hard and they deserve recognition for their efforts. We thank this community for their commitment to sustainability and their passion.
The goal has always been to offer products that brings us closer to our roots. Our artisan parnters travel to local communities where Green Gaea's Palo Santo comes from to see the job of the farmers who collect it. Each community with its own story and charm but with one similar goal: to bring this precious wood to the world. Throughout the years, we’ve learned that Palo Santo is a magic wood that exudes peace and connects us to the earth, and can be used as an organic mosquito repellant.
All Palo Santo wood can only be harvested after it has naturally fallen and left to dry for some time. Resin in the wood, which gives Palo Santo it's unique scent, eventually solidifies and the scent matures. When burned, it emits an aroma like no other. It can bring a sense of tranquility to any space.
Palo Santo is a deeply spiritual, once commonly used by the Incas to purify and cleanse the spirit from negative energies. Widely renowned for its purifying and healing powers, Palo Santo promotes protection and increased vitality. Today, the harvesting process continues to promote the sustainability and reforestation of the Palo Santo Tree, by respecting the sanctity of the wood and allowing for its continued growth. Like its close botanical cousins Frankincense and Myrrh, Palo Santo oil is recognized for a myriad of powerful therapeutic properties, including the ability to uplift mood, strengthen vitality and aid in protection.

Use a lighter to ignite your Palo Santo stick, allowing it to burn for about a minute. Waft around your home or workplace, or anywhere else you desire clear energy. The rich smell will also bring peace, clarity and positive energy to the area. Once finished, deposit the stick in a bowl of metal, glass or clay, where it will eventually burn out. Please remember to exercise caution when working with fire.
